Quote of the Day

“Between men and women there is no friendship possible. There is passion, enmity, worship, love, but no friendship.” - Oscar Wilde

My favourite Oscar Wilde tale of all times is The Fisherman & His Soul. A tragic story of true love- a man loveth so deep that his soul he doth gaveth up for love.

'Love is better than wisdom, and more precious than riches, and fairer than the feet of the daughters of men. The fires cannot destroy it, nor can the waters quench it'. (The Fisherman to his dead love; the Mermaid). Here is a link to the story and many of Oscar Wilde's tales. The Fisherman & His Soul
PS: Doesn't Oscar Wilde look like Jonathan Ross?
